Wednesday Night Routes

These are the routes from our new start location Mill Creek Brewing Co (please note, we are currently parking at the Gregory Park on Johnson Industrial Drive)  Thanks to Wendy Mucci, Kathy Soreson and Rachel Eller for the great descriptions!

Knight School

Whether you are someone who would like to revisit their school days or leave them in your rear-view mirror, Knight School is the running route for you.  After passing Mill Creek Brewery and making our way through Nolensville Park, we will run on by Nolensville Elementary as we make our way over to the paved trails that lead to our ultimate destination: Nolensville High-School, home of the Nolensville Knights. The trail leads us over and along side Mill Creek and around the Knights’ battlefields (sports fields) and then back again.

Town Hall Y’ALL

Just like the South, this route is friendly.  It’s a fast, flat saunter through the streets of town right up to Town Hall (smell the Martins and the Campo in the air as you run that direction).  Quick circle around Town Hall and bring it back to beer at Mill Creek.

Achilles Hill

Achilles will give a chance for some climbing, with a couple of small  hills and one good one.  You will work those quads as you work your way through the Ballenger neighborhood and you will spend some time with nature as the route circles back into the woods.  The good news is once you finish that Achilles of a hill, it’s a fast run home!

Sunset Strip

There’s almost nothing better than sharing a sunset with friends.  Unless it’s running Sunset Strip, with friends!  This route starts with a short run to the Rec Center before heading down Sunset.  You’ll head into Benington subdivision for a spin around the Roundabout,  back out to the strip and towards the Rec Center.   Once you leave the parking lot it’s not time for that beer just yet, you still have a mile to go before you get back to The Brewery where you can finally have your reward.

Cinco

Cinco?  She’s a mystery.  She is the Encyclopedia Brown of routes.  She is the Cinco-de-Run-O of runs.  Show up on a Wednesday night on the months we have a 5th week and we will surprise you with a route that will surprise you.  The only thing that’s consistent about Cinco…she will always be a good time.
